NJBG fall wildflower walk set for Sept. 24

Autumn has arrived, and our native wildflowers are among the first to greet the season.

Go explore them at New Jersey Botanical Garden fall wildflower 10 a.m. Sat., Sept. 24.

NJBG’s wildflower garden is a woodland haven for native plants, many of which show off their seeds, nuts, fruits and berries in the fall.

Join wildflower experts Darlene Nowak and Sandy Zenkelto explore the autumn landscape in a walk that will cover several different terrains and the plants that inhabit them.

Wear comfortable shoes; meet at the Carriage House Visitor Center.

Rain cancels.

A $5 donation is requested.

NJBG/Skylands is located on Morris Road in Ringwood.
