National Moth Night Mon., July 25 at DeKorte Park, Lyndhurst

Dr. Elena Tartaglia, co-founder of National Moth Week, will give a presentation on these spectacular yet misunderstood cousins of butterflies — 8:30 to 10 p.m. Mon., July 25 at DeKorte Park, Lyndhurst.

Industrial-strength lamps and white sheets will be set up in DeKorte Park and sugar bait will be used to attract moths for easier viewing.

Event starts with Tartaglia’s talk in the Meadowlands Environment, then it’s out to the park to view these awesome insects.
