Rutgers University’s landscape courses scheduled

Rutgers University’s next annual Home Gardeners School will take place on Sat., March 18, 2017 in New Brunswick

Details will be finalized in late fall.

In addition, they’ll have several landscaping courses scheduled:

--Introduction to Plant Identification – Nov. 9-10, 2016.

--Soil and Plant Relationships – Dec. 9 & 16, 2016.

--Water Management and Drainage – Dec. 13, 2016.

--Growing Ornamental Plants – December 19, 2016.

--Basics of Turfgrass Management – Dec.  20, 2016.

--Landscape Plants: Identification, Selection and Application – Jan. 6 – March 17, 2017 (Friday mornings).

--Landscape Design I: The Basics – Jan. 6 – Feb.  24, 2017 (Friday afternoons).

--Sustainable Landscape Design – Feb. 1, 2017.

--Beds and Borders Seminar – Feb.  6-7, 2017.

--Introduction to Pruning Techniques – March 17, 2017.

Advanced Pruning Techniques – March 28, 2017.

All classes will be held at Rutgers in New Brunswick.
